Kristin L. Omvig
Kristin is a third generation Montanan. Born and raised in Eastern Montana on the family ranch, she developed a strong belief in individual property rights at an early age. Since 1992, she has actively practiced law concentrating on real estate, property rights, land use and commercial transactions and litigation. Her practice has evolved into representing primarily private property owners’ interests. Kristin practiced in Billings for twenty years and most recently in Kalispell. Her interests include riding competitive cutting horses.

Having grown up in Kalispell, Montana, Ben feels a close connection with the community that he serves today. Ben’s practice focuses on real property and land use, business law, commercial transactions, estate planning and probate. Additionally, Ben regularly provides advice and guidance to clients on contracts, employment, and other labor issues. Ben has been engaged in private practice in in the Flathead Valley since 2012. He attended Linfield College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history with a minor in religious studies in 2008. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the Nova Southeastern School of Law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2012. Shortly after graduation Ben relocated back to his hometown of Kalispell, Montana.
Ben and his wife Ashley enjoy hiking and exploring Montana’s outdoors with their two kids. In his free time Ben serves on several local non-profit boards and coached youth lacrosse for over ten years.
Ann Thamert received her juris doctorate degree from George Washington University in 1983, graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1978, and graduated from The Institute of Paralegal Training in 1979. She has more than 30 years’ experience as a paralegal working for small and large firms, handling complex transactional, real estate and litigation matters. Ann is also skilled at estate planning, probate and water law. In her free time, Ann enjoys the Montana outdoors and can often be found hiking, backpacking, and cross-country skiing in various locations throughout the Flathead Valley. Her daughter Katy joins her in many of her adventures.
Kim was born and raised on the family ranch near Glasgow, Montana, graduated from Glasgow High School, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics from Montana State University – Bozeman in 1978. She has been employed in the agricultural field since graduation from MSU as Secretary for the Valley County Grazing Districts; Natural Resources Coordinator for the Montana Stockgrowers, Montana Public Lands Council and Montana Association of State Grazing Districts in Helena from 1986 – 1993; and was an agricultural field representative for U.S. Senator Conrad Burns. Most recently, in addition to co-owning and operating an irrigated agricultural operation west of Glasgow until May, 2015, she was employed at a Glasgow law firm from 2001 – 2016 as a legal assistant specializing in the areas of estate planning, probates, corporate matters and real estate. Kim’s extensive background enables her to address the administrative needs of our Glasgow office and provide valuable assistance to clients on a variety of legal matters. Kim’s bucket list is full and she looks forward to emptying it beginning with a trip to the wine country in Napa.
